  • What causes this issue?

    The system did not select header records to be changed for one of the
    following reasons:
    You are not authorized to change header records for the materials you
    have selected.
    No header record has been created for the existing batches.
    The header records are being processed by another user.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Depending on what caused the error, proceed as follows:
    Ask the system administrator for the authorization required to change
    header records.
    Create the header records of the batch records you want to maintain.

    Check the user authorizations in Customizing for <LS>Process Data
    Documentation</>.
    The user needs the authorization for transaction COCW (Change header
    record of a batch record), authorization object <LS>Batch record</>
    (M_MATE_CHP).
