  • What causes this issue?

You are trying to delete a staffing. However, the resource of this
staffing is entered as a responsible resource for at least one project
element or is assigned to at least one task. The status of the assigned
project element does not permit changes. This means that the links
cannot be deleted and therefore, the actual staffing cannot be deleted
    either.
Another reason for this can be that the staffing is locked in another
    session.

    System Response

The system does not delete the role staffing and issues an appropriate
    message.

    How to fix this error?

Reset the status of the assigned project element so that you can delete
    the staffing.
Make sure that the links are removed by authorized users or obtain the
relevant authorization from your system administrator.
Check if there is a foreign lock on the staffing. To do so, contact your
    system administrator.
