Message type: E = Error
Message class: CY - Capacity Requirements Planning
Message number: 745
Message text: Order & operation & suboperation &: No rem. available capacity available
The system could not find any remaining available capacity within the
planning period.
Increase the size of the planning period or
increase the available capacity &V4& or
reschedule a commitment that already exists for capacity &V4&
or
check whether the formulas at the work center for calculating duration
or capacity requirements lead to different results. For example, if the
capacity requirements calculated are twice as large as the duration
calculated then two capacities are needed to execute the operation.
In this case you should increase the available capacity or change the
formulas.

CY745
- Order & operation & suboperation &: No rem. available capacity available ?The SAP error message CY745 indicates that there is no remaining available capacity for a specific order, operation, or suboperation in the production planning module. This error typically arises during the scheduling or capacity planning processes when the system cannot allocate the required resources (like machines or labor) to complete the operation due to capacity constraints.
Causes:
- Capacity Overload: The total capacity required for the operations exceeds the available capacity of the work center.
- Incorrect Capacity Planning: The work center may not have been set up correctly, or the capacity values may not reflect the actual available resources.
- Scheduling Conflicts: Other orders may be scheduled at the same time, leading to conflicts in resource allocation.
- Maintenance or Downtime: The work center may be undergoing maintenance or may be unavailable for other reasons.
- Incorrect Order Data: The order may have incorrect data regarding the required capacity or operation times.
Solutions:
- Check Work Center Capacity: Review the capacity settings for the work center in question. Ensure that the available capacity is correctly defined and reflects the actual resources.
- Adjust Scheduling: If there are scheduling conflicts, consider rescheduling other orders or operations to free up capacity.
- Review Order Details: Verify the order details, including operation times and required capacities. Make sure they are accurate and realistic.
- Increase Capacity: If feasible, consider increasing the capacity of the work center by adding shifts, resources, or machines.
- Check for Maintenance: Ensure that the work center is not scheduled for maintenance during the time the order is planned.
- Use Alternative Work Centers: If possible, consider using alternative work centers that may have available capacity.
