After you entered a product ID, a product description was immediately
displayed as a preview to help to identify the product. The product ID
is used to display the description preview, and any alternative product
IDs or product substitutions are also considered. Once you pressed the
<LB>Enter</> key, the system performed a roundtrip to determine the
final product ID and description, but this time found a different
result. This can happen in rare cases if product substitution or
alternative IDs have been extended or modified in the system.
The first product ID is replaced by the final product ID that was
determined. The product description and unit of measure displayed are
derived from the final product ID.
Check whether the final product ID determined for the item is correct.
If it is incorrect, enter the correct product ID.
If you like, you can disable the preview of the product description,
which is part of the asynchronous value fetch feature. For more
