  • What causes this issue?

During the costing of service processes, certain attributes that
are derived either in SAP CRM or in SAP R/3 are needed
    for the items with materials.
However, the attribute '&v3&' cannot be determined for service
    process &v1& and item &v2&.

    System Response

Incomplete data is passed on to the cost estimate where it can lead to
    an error.

    How to fix this error?

In SAP CRM, the plant is determined from the service organization.
Check whether an R/3 plant has been assigned in the organizational
    model.
If the material does not exist in SAP R/3, the cost element in SAP R/3
is determined from the item category. For this purpose, Customizing
contains the following activity: Integration with Other SAP Components
-> Customer Relationship Management -> Settings for Service Processing
-> Timesheet Integration -> Define Derivation of Activity Type and
    Cost Element.
After the error has been removed, repeat the transfer of the service
process to the cost estimate by changing the appropriate item.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
