  • What causes this issue?

During the costing of service processes, certain attributes that
are derived either in SAP CRM or in SAP R/3 are needed
    for the items with services.
However, the attribute &v3& cannot be determined for service
    process &v1& and item &v2&.

    System Response

Incomplete data is passed on to the cost estimate
where it can lead to an error.

    How to fix this error?

In CRM, the cost center is determined from the service organization,
among other things. Check the Customizing, particularly the cross-
system assignment of organizational units within the organizational
    data determination.
In SAP R/3, the activity type is determined from the item category,
    service
type and the valuation type. For this purpose, Customizing contains
the activity: Integration with Other SAP Components -> Customer
Relationship Management -> Settings for Service Processing -> Time
Sheet Integration -> Define Derivation of Activity Type.
The cost element is determined in SAP R/3 using the valuation class of
the service in the service master.
After the error has been removed, repeat the transfer of the service
process to the cost estimate by changing the appropriate item.

    Procedure for System Administrators
