  • What causes this issue?

    Product &V1& contains inconsistent master data details such as product
    category or product group. The master data of product &V1& has changed
    since the creation of the marketing object.

    System Response

    The system will not allow the generation of condition records for
    products with inconsistent master data details.

    How to fix this error?

    You can run the report of Marketing Persistent Master Data Changes
    (CRM_MKTPL_PMDC). This report allows you to fix trade promotion(s)
    affected by a master data change.
    You can also adjust manually the Marketing object affected by a master
    data change by removing product &V1& and re-adding the product again. In
    doing so, the product is assigned and validated against the current
    version of master data. If the trade promotion is started and released,
    then you would need to stop the trade promotion or product effective
    date and create a new trade promotion for the remaining time.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
