Message type: E = Error
Message class: CRM_APO - Dates
Message number: 109
Message text: Availability check: The item number has more than 6 characters
A restriction for the length of the item number applies due to the APO
System if you carry out the availability check in SAP APO and due to the
R/3 System if you carry out availability check in SAP R/3. Both systems
only provide 6 characters for the item number, whereas the SAP CRM
System can use 10-character item numbers.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
As long as this restriction applies, you must make sure that your
internal item numbers for ATP-relevant items do not consist of more than
6 characters.
