Message class: CONT_TOOLS - Message for BI Content Tools German
Message number: 504
Message text: Check category SAD. A version is newer than the D version
BW objects can exist in A, M, and D versions. (A = active, M = changed,
D = delivered).
The A version of the selected object is newer than the D version.
This means that either the most current D version was overwritten when
an older D version was imported, or in a BW Content development system,
that the function for saving the D version is not working correctly. The
system setting (Content system on/off) might have been changed.
When you save BW objects in BW Content development systems, the Content
time stamp is set.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
This inconsistency can be resolved in a BW Content development system by
saving the BW object again. The D version is then overwritten by the
most up to date A version.
Alternatively you can transfer the D version again from the Content
(transaction RSOR).
The current A version is then overwritten by the old D version.
The Content developer has to decide which of the two versions is
correct.
In a non-Content system, this inconsistency is always caused by an older
object version being imported.
You should import the most up-to-date object version.
