What causes this issue?

BW objects can exist in A, M, and D versions. (A = active, M = changed,
D = delivered).
For the selected object, the D version is newer than the A version.
This means that the D version of the object imported from a BW content
development system does not match the
A version of the object. The differences are determined based on the
content time stamp of the objects.
When you save BW objects in BW Content development systems, the Content
time stamp is set.
This means that when an object in the development system is saved again,
the content time stamp is changed even though no changes were made to
the object.
The D version of the object was most likely imported from a BW Content
development system as SAP BI Content or Partner Content.
After the D-Version was imported, the content was not installed
properly. This is why there are different A and D versions. You can
generate the A version in a BW system using transaction RSOR.
If this inconsistency occurs in a BW content development system it can
lead to more inconsistencies in further editing of the D version because
the content developer does not see the objects in the Adminstrator
Workbench that were delivered with the D version.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Install the D version again if you want to use the most current version
of the object.
You can install using transaction RSOR. Remember that this can lead to
loss of changes in the existing A version if you do not choose the
comparison mode during content installation or if this mode mode is not
available for the object type.
