Message text: You can only complete a document in the document management system
You are looking at the general object overview and want to set the
system status "Change complete" for a document.
This function is not supported for documents in the engineering change
management system.
In the "Document Statuses" step of the IMG for the document management
system, you define per document type whether a document with this
status is evaluated as "complete" for engineering change management
purposes.
You can only set a status with the <LS>Completion message for
engineering change management</> indicator in the document info record
if the current system status of the document in the change master
recordis defined as a previous status for the system status "Change
released".
If this is the case, the object management record in the change master
record is changed automatically. The system status is set to "Change
released".
If you want to release the document, first set the status defined for
this purpose in the document info record.
Note:
On the object management record detail screen, you can display the
possible system statuses for each change object. To do this, choose
menu option <LS>Edit</>, function <LS>Set status</>.
