Message class: BP - Budgeting and planning
Message number: 552
Message text: Specify the project or a top WBS element of the project
You want to plan a subhierarchy for project &V3&.
In plan profile &V1& of project &V3&, the indicator for "Bottom-Up
Planning" is set.
If this indicator is set, the function "Total Up" is executed
automatically in the structure planning for costs and revenues each
time you save and check. The superior WBS element receives the total of
all plan values of the direct subordinate WBS element as the structure
plan value.
Note:
As you execute a structure planning for a subhierarchy, the plan values
are only totaled as far as the WBS element &V2& with which you accessed
the planning.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
The automatic totaling within the whole project or as far as
Top-WBS-Element is then guaranteed if you access the structure planning
with project definition &V3& or a Top-WBS-Element of the Project.
You can switch off this message by using transaction OBA5 or by
changing the message category on the error message, warning or
information message.
