Message text: Transformer &1 and consumption in inactive period
The <DS:DE.E_DEVICE_NBR>Device Not Relevant for Billing</> indicator is
selected for power transformer &v1& in the period from &v2& to &v3&.
Power transformer losses are <ZH>not</> calculated during this period.
This presupposes that the consumption registers assigned to the power
transformer do not measure consumption during this period. However, the
system found a consumption value greater than zero.
The system cancels billing.
Check the meter reading results for the registers assigned. Enter a
meter reading result for the date on which you selected the <ZK> Device
Not Relevant for Billing</> indicator for the power transformer.
Also enter a meter reading result (<ZH>with the same register reading</>
) for the date for which you remove the indicator from the power
transformer.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

This typically occurs in the context of billing or energy management within SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities).
Cause:
The error arises when there is an attempt to process consumption data for a period where the transformer (or the relevant device) is not active. This can happen due to several reasons:

Solution:
To resolve the BIL026 error, you can take the following steps:
Check Device Status: Verify the status of the transformer in the system. Ensure that it is active for the period in question. If it is inactive, you may need to adjust the billing period or the consumption data accordingly.

Adjust Consumption Data: If consumption data has been incorrectly recorded for an inactive period, you may need to correct or delete that data. This can involve adjusting the consumption records in the system.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling this error. The documentation may provide additional insights into the configuration settings that need to be checked.
