The error can occur in 2 different places:
1. In the connected gateway
2. In the underlying CTI software

BCOMEC003

Solution:
Check User Roles:
- Go to transaction code
SU01
(User Maintenance) and enter the user ID.- Check the roles assigned to the user and ensure that the necessary roles that include the required authorizations are assigned.
Review Authorization Objects:
- Use transaction code
SU53
immediately after the error occurs to display the last authorization check. This will show which authorization object failed and why.- Analyze the output to identify which specific authorizations are missing.
Modify Roles:
- If you have the necessary permissions, you can modify the roles using transaction code
PFCG
(Role Maintenance) to include the missing authorizations.- If you do not have the necessary permissions, contact your SAP security administrator to request the required changes.
Testing:
- After making changes to roles or authorizations, have the user log out and log back in to ensure that the changes take effect.
- Test the function again to see if the error persists.
Documentation:
- Document any changes made to roles or authorizations for future reference and compliance.
