  • What causes this issue?

Employees in pay grade group E9 who are moved from remuneration group Va
or Vb without an increase to IVb, or from remuneration group Vb after an
increase from Vc or wage group 9, are subject to special rules during
the next pay scale level increase.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

The following points need to be checked or taken into account for the
    personnel number:
Check the assigned pay scale level. The highest level for remuneration
group E9 is based on the employee's career. Since required information
is missing in some cases, this can result in an incorrect pay scale
    level assignment.
By entering a value in the <ZK>Next Increase</> field (for example, to
Dec. 31, 9999), you can prevent employees who have already reached their
specific highest pay scale level (which lies below the highest level
permitted for the remuneration group) from being granted a pay scale
level increase automatically by report RPIPSR00.
You can monitor personnel numbers to which multiple special rules are
applied in succession by creating task records (infotype 0019).
Check the date of the next increase for former employees. If the pay
scale level period deviates from the table value in accordance with
collective agreement for TVUE VKA/federation, correct the date for the
next increase manually. The <ZK>Next Increase</> field overrides the
table values for the report for pay scale level increases.
