Message text: Validity period of infotype is not valid
The validity period of the infotype covers a period of more than one
calendar year. This is only possible if the "Headcount, Change to
Headcount" field does not show an increase or decrease (value 2, 3, 4,
5, 6, or space).
This restriction is set since the pension recipient statistics are
always created in January and, for this reason, a personnel number can
only be reported once as an increase or decrease; the infotype is always
evaluated for January.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Delimit the infotype to the end of the year (December 31).

This error indicates that the dates specified for the infotype record do not fall within the allowed range or are not valid for the current context.
Causes:
- Invalid Date Range: The start and end dates of the infotype record may not be set correctly. For example, the end date may be earlier than the start date.
- Overlap with Existing Records: The new infotype record may overlap with existing records that have conflicting validity periods.
- Date Format Issues: The date format may not be recognized by the system, leading to validation errors.
- System Date Settings: The system date may be set incorrectly, causing the validity period to appear invalid.
- Missing Required Fields: Certain required fields may not be filled in, leading to the inability to validate the infotype.
Solutions:
- Check Validity Dates: Review the start and end dates of the infotype record. Ensure that the start date is earlier than the end date and that both dates are within the acceptable range.
- Review Existing Records: Check for any existing infotype records that may conflict with the new record. If there are overlaps, you may need to adjust the dates of the existing records or delete them if they are no longer needed.
- Correct Date Format: Ensure that the dates are entered in the correct format as per the system's requirements.
- Verify System Date: Check the system date settings to ensure they are correct. If the system date is incorrect, it may affect the validity checks.
- Complete Required Fields: Make sure all mandatory fields for the infotype are filled out correctly before saving the record.
