  • What causes this issue?

    There was no record found for this employee for IT 74 subtype 1.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

    The infotype screen will not appear. In the absence of an IT 74 subtype
    1 record on the given date, payroll processing cannot start properly.
    Also, deafulting using feature 09LTR would not take place.

    How to fix this error?

    An IT 74 subtype 1 record must be created, which is valid on the begin
    date of this record.
    But, if the date in the message is not as expected then please look at
    the follwoing logic which is used to determine the start date of this
    record:
    If the from date is filled on the initial Maintain HR Master Data(PA30)
    screen:
    ,,Set the Start date of the record as From date.
    Otherwise:
    ,,Set the Start date as the maximum of (Join date, 1st May of the
    vacation year, next payroll run start date).
