  • What causes this issue?

    This message is issued in response to either of the following scenarios:
    You deliberately de-selected the checkbox <ZH>Launch ROE Laser Print</>
    from the <ZH>Record of Employment (ROE) - Exporter</> selection screen,
    then executed that application.
    An error occurred when the ROE Workbench attempted to run the ROE Laser
    Print application automatically.

    System Response

    The ROE Exporter continues to export the selected form(s) and create the
    flat file.

    How to fix this error?

    Once the ROE Exporter has finished, you must <ZH>manually</> print the
    ROE using the applications ROE Print or ROE Laser from Human Resources
    and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC), then obtain a valid ROE Serial
    Number for each record.
    &NOTE&
    You must perform these actions <ZH>before</> you import ROE data. As ROE
    data is imported, the ROE Workbench will void all ROE records that lack
    a valid ROE Serial Number.
