Message text: No infotype Absences(2001)for absence day &
An absence day exists with no corresponding <ZH>Absences</> (Infotype
2001) record. This has been caused by an <ZH>Absences</> record being
deleted after the execution of the Personal Calendar Update Program
(RPUSSPG0).
Conversion will not be performed.
Check whether there should be an <ZH>Absences</> record. If the absence
has been correctly deleted and payroll has not been run, this can be
remedied by rerunning the Personal Calendar Update Program (RPUSSPG0).

The SAP error message 5G854 indicates that there is no infotype 2001 (Absences) available for the specified absence day. This error typically occurs when trying to process or display absence records in the SAP system, and it suggests that the system cannot find the necessary data for the specified date.
Causes:
Missing Infotype Record: The most common cause is that there is no infotype 2001 record for the employee on the specified date. This could be due to:
- The absence not being recorded.
- The absence record being deleted or not saved properly.
- The date being outside the range of the absence record.
Incorrect Date: The date being referenced may not correspond to any absence record for the employee.
Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to view the absence records for that employee.
Data Consistency Issues: There may be inconsistencies in the data, such as issues with the employee's master data.
Solutions:
Check Infotype Records:
- Go to the employee's master data (transaction code PA20 or PA30) and check if there is an infotype 2001 record for the specified date.
- If there is no record, you may need to create one if the absence should be recorded.
Verify Dates:
- Ensure that the date you are checking corresponds to the correct absence period. If the absence is for a different date, adjust accordingly.
Review Authorizations:
- Check if the user has the necessary permissions to view the absence records. If not, contact your SAP security administrator to grant the required access.
Data Consistency Check:
- Run a consistency check on the employee's data to ensure there are no discrepancies. This can be done using transaction codes like PA03 or PA30.
Consult with HR:
- If you are unsure about the absence records, consult with your HR department to verify if the absence was recorded correctly.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
