From the date you have entered in the field <ZK>Actual Start of MPP,
</>your SAP system recognises that the employee's Maternity Pay Pariod

begin on a Sunday. If the date you have entered does not fall on a
Sunday, the official MPP start date is set to the following Sunday.
However, from 6th April 2003, an employee's MPP can begin on any day of
the week if:
The beginning of the MPP is triggered by a pregnancy-related illness,

The beginning of the MPP is triggered by the onset of child-birth.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
For employee's whose MPP begins for reasons other than the two special

your SAP system to the following Sunday.
Should the employee's MPP begin as a result of one of the two
circumstances above, the MPP may begin on any day of the week.
