- No released and sent BRC exists in history ?The SAP error message "5F734 No released and sent BRC exists in history" typically occurs in the context of Business Rules Framework (BRF) or when dealing with business rule configurations in SAP. This error indicates that there are no released and sent Business Rule Configurations (BRC) available in the system history for the operation you are trying to perform.
Cause:
- No Released BRC: The most common cause is that there are no business rules that have been released and sent to the relevant system or client.
- Incorrect Configuration: The configuration might not be set up correctly, or the rules may not have been activated.
- Transport Issues: If the BRC was supposed to be transported from another system, it may not have been done correctly.
- Authorization Issues: Lack of proper authorizations to view or access the BRC can also lead to this error.
Solution:
- Check BRC Status: Verify if there are any BRCs that have been released. You can do this by navigating to the relevant transaction in SAP (e.g., BRF+ transaction codes) and checking the status of the business rules.
- Release BRC: If there are BRCs that are not released, you will need to release them. This typically involves going into the BRF+ workbench, selecting the relevant rules, and releasing them.
- Transport BRC: If the BRC is supposed to be in the system but is missing, check if it needs to be transported from another system (like Development to Quality or Production). Ensure that the transport request has been created and released properly.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to access and view the BRCs. You may need to contact your SAP security team to verify your access rights.
- Consult Documentation: Review the SAP documentation or help files related to BRF+ and BRCs for any specific steps or configurations that may be required.
