    Step-by-step How to Use: 
    1. Enter the HREIC_CATEGORY transaction code into the SAP command field. 
    2. Select “Create” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
    3. Enter the name of the new category in the “Category Name” field. 
    4. Enter a description of the new category in the “Description” field. 
    5. Select “Save” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to save your changes. 
    6. To assign a category to an employee or group of employees, select “Assign Category” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
    7. Select an employee or group of employees from the list and click “OK” to assign them to this category. 
    8. To assign a category to an incentive plan or group of plans, select “Assign Plan” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
    9. Select an incentive plan or group of plans from the list and click “OK” to assign them to this category. 
    10. Select “Save” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to save your changes.

Additionally, it is important that users ensure that all categories are properly assigned to employees and incentive plans in order for them to be effective and accurate in their calculations and reporting.
