Key Concepts: Design Key Figures are a type of key figure used in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to create custom calculations. They are used to create complex calculations that are not available in the standard key figures. Design Key Figures can be used to calculate the difference between two key figures, or to calculate the ratio of two key figures. How to use it: Design Key Figures can be created in SAC by selecting the “Design Key Figure” option from the “Create” menu. Once selected, a new window will open where you can enter the formula for your calculation. You can also select from a list of predefined formulas or create your own custom formula. Once you have entered your formula, you can save it and use it in your analysis. Tips & Tricks: When creating Design Key Figures, it is important to remember that they are calculated based on the data that is currently loaded into SAC. Therefore, if you change the data set or add new data, the Design Key Figure will need to be recalculated. Additionally, when creating formulas for Design Key Figures, it is important to use the correct syntax and formatting so that SAC can interpret it correctly.
