    Propagation is a feature of Characteristics-Dependent Planning (CDP) in SAP SCM-APO-CA. It allows for the automatic transfer of planning data from one product to another. This is done by assigning a characteristic to a product and then propagating the planning data associated with that characteristic to other products with the same characteristic. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use propagation, first assign a characteristic to a product in the CDP module. Then, enter the planning data associated with that characteristic. Finally, select the products that have the same characteristic and propagate the planning data to them. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When using propagation, it is important to ensure that all products with the same characteristic have the same planning data. This will ensure that all products are planned correctly and efficiently.
