  • Key Concepts: Interval customers are customers who have a contract with a utility company to receive energy services in intervals. This type of customer is typically used for businesses that require a large amount of energy, such as factories or large office buildings. The utility company will measure the amount of energy used by the customer in intervals, usually every 15 minutes, and then bill the customer accordingly.
How to use it: In SAP IS-U-EDM Energy Data Management, interval customers are managed using the Interval Customer Master Data (ICMD) application. This application allows users to create and manage interval customer contracts, view energy usage data, and generate bills for interval customers.
Tips & Tricks: When creating an interval customer contract in ICMD, it is important to ensure that all of the necessary information is entered correctly. This includes the customer’s name, address, contact information, and any other relevant information. Additionally, it is important to ensure that the billing period is set correctly so that the customer is billed accurately.
