Once the desired length of time has been set, patient data will automatically be deleted after the set retention period has expired. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  It is important to note that the retention period feature only applies to patient data stored in the SAP IS-PMED-PE Patient Engagement component. Any other patient data stored outside of this component will not be affected by this feature. Additionally, users should ensure that they regularly review and update their retention period settings to ensure that patient data is kept secure and private.
