  • Key Concepts:
Concurrent costing is a feature of SAP's IS-A-PPC Production Backflush module that allows for the simultaneous costing of multiple production orders. It enables the user to cost multiple orders at once, rather than having to cost each order individually. This can save time and resources, as well as improve accuracy.

    How to use it:
To use concurrent costing, the user must first set up the production orders in the system. Once this is done, the user can select the orders they wish to cost and then click on the “Cost” button. This will open a window where the user can enter the cost information for each order. Once all of the information is entered, the user can click “Save” and the costs will be applied to each order simultaneously.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using concurrent costing, it is important to ensure that all of the cost information is accurate and up-to-date. This will help to ensure that all of the orders are correctly costed and that no errors occur. Additionally, it is important to double-check all of the information before saving, as any mistakes could lead to incorrect costs being applied.
