  • Description: The stage an auction has reached in the sell side and buy side applications. In the sell side application, once a seller creates an auction it can have the following statuses: Open : Auction that is created and not available for customers to view. Published : Auction that is available for customers to view. Active : Auction that is available for customers to bid. Finalized : Auction that has elapsed the end date and winner has been determined. In the buy side application, once an auction is published it can have the following statuses: Published : Auction that is available to view before the start date. Active : Auction that is available to bid.

    Auction status is a feature of the CRM-ISA-AUC Web Auction component of SAP. It is used to track the progress of an auction, from the initial setup to the final completion. The status of an auction can be one of several values, such as “Open”, “Closed”, “Cancelled”, or “Completed”.
    
    How to use it: 
    The auction status can be set by the user when creating an auction. This will determine the initial state of the auction and will be updated as the auction progresses. For example, when an auction is opened, its status will be set to “Open”. As bids are placed and accepted, the status will be updated to “Closed”.
