  • Key Concepts: Status type is a feature of the Workbench Tools in SAP. It is used to define the status of an object in the system. It is used to control the availability of objects for use in the system. The status type can be set to active, inactive, or locked.
    How to use it: To use status type, first select the object you want to set the status for. Then select the status type from the drop-down menu. You can choose from active, inactive, or locked. Once you have selected the status type, click “Save” to apply it to the object.
    Tips & Tricks: When setting a status type for an object, make sure that you are aware of any restrictions that may be associated with it. For example, if you set an object to inactive, it will not be available for use in the system until it is set back to active.
