The SAP error message XE022 indicates that there is a number range overflow for a specific object and interval. This typically occurs when the system has exhausted the available numbers in a defined number range interval for a particular object, such as a document type or a master record.
Cause: Exhausted Number Range: The most common cause is that the number range defined for the object has been completely used up. For example, if the number range is defined from 1 to 1000, and all numbers have been assigned, the next attempt to generate a new number will result in this error. Incorrect Configuration: Sometimes, the number range intervals may not be configured correctly, leading to premature exhaustion. Solution: Extend the Number Range: Go to the transaction code SNRO (Number Range Objects). Find the relevant number range object associated
