  • What causes this issue?

    In C
    <LS>Always transfer quality inspection stock</>.
For each SAP APO target system, you can make one of the following
    settings in C
    Always transfer quality inspection stock.
Transfer inspection lots if the inspection setup in the material master
includes the generation of inspection lots relevant to stock. In
contrast to quality inspection stock, inspection lots have a planned
    receipt date.
The system has found at least one active integration model for
inspection lots (model &V2&). The setting you have chosen contradicts
the fact that active integration models exist for inspection lots in
system &V1&, and this could lead to data inconsistencies. The same
quantity could appear in the system as stock and as an inspection lot.

    System Response

The <ls>Always transfer quality inspection stock</> setting is blocked.

    How to fix this error?

If you want to maintain quality inspection stock in SAP APO instead of
inspection lots, you must first deactivate all active integration
models for inspection lots and then change the Customizing settings.

Smart SAP Assistant

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message XC302 - &1: Active integration models still exist for inspection lots ?

The SAP error message XC302 indicates that there are active integration models associated with inspection lots that prevent certain actions from being completed. This typically occurs in the context of Quality Management (QM) and integration with other modules like Production Planning (PP) or Materials Management (MM).

    Cause:

The error arises when you attempt to delete or change an inspection lot that is still linked to an active integration model. Integration models are used to synchronize data between different SAP modules, and if there are active models related to the inspection lot, the system will not allow modifications to ensure data integrity.

    Solution:

To resolve this error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Identify Active Integration Models:

      • Use transaction code C223 (or C220) to check for active integration models related to the inspection lot. You can filter by the relevant criteria to find the specific models.
    2. Deactivate or Delete Integration Models:

      • If you find that there are integration models that are no longer needed, you can deactivate or delete them. This can be done in the same transaction (C223) by selecting the model and choosing the appropriate action.
    3. Check Inspection Lot Status:

      • Ensure that the inspection lot is in a status that allows for changes. If the lot is in a status that prevents changes (e.g., "Completed" or "Closed"), you may need to change its status first.
    4. Consult with Your SAP Administrator:

      • If you are unsure about deactivating integration models or if they are critical for your business processes, consult with your SAP administrator or a functional consultant. They can provide guidance on the implications of deactivating models.
    5. Reprocess the Inspection Lot:

      • After deactivating the integration models, try to reprocess the inspection lot to see if the error persists.

    Related Information:

    • Integration Models: These are used to manage data flow between different SAP modules. Understanding how they work and their dependencies is crucial for troubleshooting.
    • Quality Management (QM): Familiarize yourself with the QM module, especially how inspection lots are created and managed.
    • Transaction Codes: Knowing relevant transaction codes (like C223, C220, QA32 for inspection lot display, etc.) can help you navigate the system more effectively.

If the problem persists after following these steps, it may be necessary to look into more specific configurations or consult SAP support for further assistance.
