What causes this issue?

You have selected a processing function (for example, Explode nodes)
that affect the selected nodes in the tree control.
The cursor has, however, been positioned outwith the tree control and
the function cannot, therefore, be executed.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
