How To Fix WXP081 - Character. &2 cannot be used as "Classification System Characteristic &1"

SAP Error Message - Details

• Message class: WXP - Retail Planning

• Message number: 081

• Message text: Character. &2 cannot be used as "Classification System Characteristic &1"

What causes this issue?

You have assigned "Classification System Characteristic" &V1& to
plannning characteristic &V2&. You have not, however, entered the
characteristic from the classification system that you want the
planning characteristic to represent.

System Response

The planning scenario cannot be activated because some required
information is missing.

How to fix this error?

In the "Special Planning Levels" screen for planning characteristic
&V2&, enter the relevant classification system characteristic.
When you have done this, check the planning scenario once again.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
