Message class: WV - Messages about Sales Price Calculation
Message number: 307
Message text: Items whose sales unit/sales price unit have changed have been re-priced
On the maintenance screen, the sales unit and/or the sales price unit
was changed for one or more distribution chain(s). New prices were
calculated for the pricing items affected by these changes.
If you made manual changes for these pricing items on the basis of the
old sales unit/sales price unit, these changes are overwritten by the
new price calculation. The same applies to any other changes you might
have made to the pricing items at the same time as the sales unit/sales
price unit change.
Re-enter your changes for the pricing items, if appropriate.

This message typically occurs in the context of sales order processing, pricing conditions, or inventory management.
Cause:
- Change in Sales Unit: The sales unit of measure for the item has been altered. For example, if an item was previously sold by the piece and is now sold by the box, this change will trigger the error.
- Change in Sales Price Unit: Similar to the sales unit, if the price unit (the unit in which the price is defined) has been modified, it can lead to discrepancies in pricing.

Solution:
- Review Changes: Check the changes made to the sales unit or sales price unit in the material master or sales order. Ensure that the changes are intentional and correct.
- Re-evaluate Pricing: After confirming the changes, re-evaluate the pricing conditions for the affected items. This may involve updating the pricing records or conditions in the system.
- Update Sales Order: If the error occurs during sales order processing, you may need to update the sales order to reflect the new sales unit or price unit. This can involve re-entering the item or adjusting the quantities.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling pricing conditions and sales units.
- Check Customizations: If your SAP system has custom pricing logic, ensure that it is compatible with the changes made to the sales unit or price unit.
