What causes this issue?

You attempted to read a promotion that is already activated and
therefore no longer exists in the database.

System Response

The system has read the promotion from the archive, but can only display
it.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
