What causes this issue?

You set the <LS>Validity</> flag in Customizing for the follow-up type
of the follow-up/replacement material relationship. When this flag is
set, you have to specify a validity period for the follow-up/replacement
material relationship.

System Response

The system cannot create, change, or delete the follow-up/replacement
material relationship.

How to fix this error?

Specify the start of the validity period in the import file.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
