variant-creating characteristic is available.

System Response

As long as no variant-creating characteristic is available<(>,<)> you
cannot enter any characteristic values for the new variants.

How to fix this error?

There are characteristics profiles assigned to this merchandise category
that provide at least one variant-creating characteristic. Choose one of
these characteristics profiles.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
