  • What causes this issue?

The check found a condition that is not appropriate for the step type.
Each step type can only process specific condition types. This sometimes
also depends on the value of the step. For instance, step type "multiple
condition" only has conditions if the value of the step is "SWITCH".

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

During workflow processing conditions are not deleted immediately if you
change the value (for example, from "SWITCH" to "CASE" for a multiple
condition). This has the advantage that the condition appears again if
you want to undo the change.
To complete the modelling or with workflows from older releases, you
should delete unnecessary conditions. To do this, call the context menu
for the error message (right mouse button) and choose the "Repair"
function. The condition is then deleted.
Note: Save the workflow under a new version (workflow -> draw version).
