  • Access sequences and accesses
In text Customizing, you can set the system to automatically supply
texts in transactions (e.g. sales orders, deliveries, etc.). To do
this, you assign an access sequence to a text ID. The order of accesses
in which the system is to search for texts is stored in the access
sequence. The system assigns the first source text found to the target
text. No further accesses are carried out.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Determining key figures
The maximum number of access levels is determined from settings made in
Customizing and issued by the system.
    Alternatives
The number of unsuccessful accesses increases when successful accesses
are listed last in the order of access sequences. For this reason, you
    should consider
    - whether you can better order the accesses
    - whether you can avoid accesses by using requirements instead
