Message text: Full delivery may lead to product over-allocation
The system correlated delivery groups for all items on the basis of the
full delivery agreement in the document. This resulted in a change in
confirmation. Because several or all correlated items are
subject to Quota Processing, quota quantities may be exceeded due to
the resulting shift in deadline or change in quantity. Quantities which
have already been assigned in previous periods are freed. All together,
this may violate the quotas which have been agreed upon.
The system does not react to quota assignments on a period basis.
Adjust your quota systems as necessary to avoid over-confirmation.

VV024
- Full delivery may lead to product over-allocation ?The SAP error message VV024, which states "Full delivery may lead to product over-allocation," typically occurs in the context of sales and distribution (SD) when there is an attempt to deliver a quantity of goods that exceeds the available stock or the allocated stock for a particular sales order. This can happen in various scenarios, such as when there are multiple sales orders for the same product, and the total demand exceeds the available supply.
Cause:
- Stock Availability: The available stock for the product is less than the quantity requested for delivery.
- Allocation Issues: The system has allocated stock to other sales orders, and fulfilling the current order would lead to over-allocation.

- Configuration Settings: The configuration settings in the system regarding delivery and allocation may not be aligned with the business requirements.
Solution:
- Check Stock Levels: Verify the current stock levels for the product in question. You can do this using transaction codes like

(Display Sales Order) to review the relevant sales orders.- Adjust Delivery Quantity: If possible, adjust the delivery quantity to a level that does not exceed the available stock or allocated stock.
- Reallocate Stock: If necessary, you can reallocate stock from other sales orders if your business rules allow for it. This can be done through transaction code
