    You want to assign a customer, who is not recognized by the system for
    one of the following reasons:
    You have not entered a sales area.
    No master record has been created for this customer.
    No master record has been created for this customer in this sales area.

    System Response

    The system cannot assign the customer.

    How to fix this error?

    If you still want to assign the customer anyway, choose one of the
    following solutions:
    Enter a valid sales area.
    Create a master record for the customer.
    Maintain the sales area data in the customer master record.
    You can go from the screen <LS>Maintain customer hierarchy </> to
    customer master record maintenance. Choose also <LS>Environment ->
    Customer -> Create </>or <LS> -> Change.</>

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
