What causes this issue?

The subcontracting component could not be determined uniquely.
Inbound delivery item &V1& &V2& has several components with material
&V3& and the system could not uniquely identify the component via batch
&V4&, plant and storage location.

System Response

The subcontracting component could not be changed.

Check the subcontracting components of inbound delivery item &V1& &V2&
for deviations from the Advanced Shipping Notification.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
