  • What causes this issue?

    The returnable packaging account to be archived has a preceding
    account. This account is not set for archiving. The account to be
    archived overwrites the validity of the preceding account. If the
    account is archived, it will no longer overwrite the preceding account,
    and the preceding account will be valid again.

    System Response

    The system does not archive accounts that have preceding accounts in
    the system. The account is not archived. The system proceeds with
    checking the next account.

    How to fix this error?

    Set the preceding account so that it fulfils the prerequisites for
    archiving. A returnable packaging account can be archived if it has the
    status "marked for deletion". You set this status manually in
    Returnable Packaging Logistics (transaction RL02).
