What causes this issue?

Document number assignment has assigned the last free number for number
range object &V1& in number range &V2& with prefix &V3&. Unless the
number range definition is changed manually, additional number
assignment would lead to process termination.

How to fix this error?

You can either increase the upper limit of the number range interval or
reset the current number range status. In addition, you must ensure that
in future, no number is assigned more than once.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
