What causes this issue?

In Customizing for Batch Management or in the Business Add-In
you have defined that no documentary batches should be entered for
process step &V1&.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Therefore, it is not possible to enter documentary batches in this
function.
