• Message text: Entity type &2 cannot be used in edition type &1

What causes this issue?

The entity type &V2& cannot be used in edition type &V1& because of one
of the following reasons: Either <DS:DE.USMD_USAGE_TYPE>storage and use
type</> <LS>1</> is not assigned to the entity type or the entity type
does not use the validity concept <ls>Edition</>.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
