What causes this issue?

You cannot delete a field from the planning function if it is still
being used in parameter groups.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Do not use the field in parameter groups any longer.
In many cases, it will be necessary to delete the parameter groups. To
do this, you must first terminate maintenance of the planning function.
