Message text: Planning level unsuitable for dynamic simulation
You have attempted to define a dynamic simulation. However, there are
certain prerequisites for this as far as time characteristics are
concerned. This is not the case in the current planning level.
If you wish to create a dynamic simulation in a planning level, the
planning level must fulfill the following prerequisites:
The planning level must contain <ZH>at least</> one time
characteristic.
The planning level must contain <ZH>exactly</> one time characteristic
whose characteristic values are not restricted to an individual value
(e.g. several individual values or a time period). The system
determines this time characteristic and uses it as a basis to generate
the time series required for the simulation.
The planning level <ZH>can</> contain further time characteristics
whose characteristic values, however, must be restricted to individual
values.
Note: The data model does not currently support a link between several
time characteristics.
You cannot create a dynamic simulation because of the current
definition of the planning level.
Define a planning level whose time characteristics meet the
requirements described above, and then create the desired dynamic
simulation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

UPE1053
- Planning level unsuitable for dynamic simulation ?The SAP error message UPE1053, which states "Planning level unsuitable for dynamic simulation," typically occurs in the context of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) when there is an issue with the planning levels defined for a simulation scenario.
Cause: Incompatible Planning Levels: The planning level you are trying to use for dynamic simulation may not be compatible with the simulation settings or the data model. Missing Data: The required data for the planning level may not be available or properly configured, leading to the inability to perform the simulation. Incorrect Configuration: The configuration settings for the planning levels or the simulation scenario may not be set up correctly. Hierarchy Issues: If the planning level is based on a hierarchy, there may be issues with the hierarchy structure or the nodes being used.
Solution: Check Planning Level Configuration: Review the configuration of the planning levels in your system. Ensure that the
