  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The check "Inactive Nametabs" looks for table entries in table DDXTT.
The table is the so called "inactive nametab". It is used to store
technical information of dictionary objects temporarily e.g. when
importing a transport request. In general this table is empty. A non
empty table DDXTT indicates that a transport request was not imported
correctly. This can have an impact on the consistency of the system
after the Unicode conversion because of the nametab switch during
    Unicode conversion.
Please read note 932779 for more information on the handling of nametabs
    in the Unicode conversion.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Please make sure that no transport request was imported during runtime
of the check. If this was the case, rerun the check in transaction
    SPUMG.
Go to transaction SE16 and display the contents of table DDXTT.
Sometimes it is possible that the objects in DDXTT have not been
activated correctly. Go to SE11 and activate the objects in DDXTT. The
objects will be deleted from DDXTT if they can be activated correctly.
If you cannot activate the objects please look for transport requests
which have not been imported correctly. You should try to import
    erroneous transport requests again.
If you cannot find any reference for the objects you can delete them
    from DDXTT.
