Message type: E = Error
Message class: UMGLOG - Message class for the SPUMG Main Log
Message number: 417
Message text: Unicode nametabs are not consistent or not up-to-date.
The check "Unicode nametabs" compares the contents of the active non
Unicode nametab and the Unicode nametab which is used in the Unicode
system after conversion. If entries are missing in the Unicode nametab
or entries are out of date, the check displays a warning or error
message depending on the number of inconsistent entries.
Note 932779 provides general information about nametabs and the handling
of the nametabs during Unicode conversion.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
As a precaution you can generate the Unicode nametabs as soon as you
started with the conversion preparations. Possible problems or errors
can be clarified and solved long before the downtime of the database
export or the upgrade.
Generate the Unicode nametabs by selecting menu "Extras -> Unicode
Nametabs -> Create Unicode nametabs" in transaction SPUMG.
If the generation is finished you can do a detailed analysis of
remaining warnings by using report
<DS:REPO.UMG_SHOW_UCTABS>UMG_SHOW_UCTABS</>. Note: because of the large
number of nametab objects, a detailed analysis makes sense only after
the first nametab generation is finished.
